PSS: what’s that smell?

ON TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 5, AT AROUND 8:30 PM, A FIRE ALARM SOUNDED in the Rensselaer Union. About six minutes later, a fire engine from Troy Fire Department’s 15th Street station and a rescue engine and battalion chief from the department’s 6th Street station arrived on the scene for an investigation of a reported natural gas odor. According to a Rensselaer Department of Public Safety official, the smell was reported in Father’s Marketplace, but, after the fire department made their rounds, an all-clear was given.
