GM Week 2019 Candidate Information

Every year, The Polytechnic produces a special Grand Marshal Week issue that provides information about the week’s festivities and gives the opportunity for candidates for student government offices to present themselves to the student body. Inclusion in this special issue is completely voluntary, although we feel that it is a valuable and efficient way to reach a large number of voters, and we encourage all candidates to take advantage of it. The special issue will be published and distributed across campus on Monday, March 28, 2019.

The Polytechnic will not be doing its traditional endorsements process this year. We will still interview the GM, PU, and UP candidates as part of our elections coverage. These interviews will be recorded and candidates should expect at least a partial transcript of them to be released online. This decision was explained in a staff editorial published on March 13
