General Motors sponsors a full motion, hydraulic-based Indy racing car simulator at the Armory from 11 am to 3 pm. Rev it up to 200 mph without even messing up your hair.
Sigma Alpha Epsilon sponsors a 24-hour soccer-a-thon tournament at 6 pm in the Armory. Come play.
Hirsch Observastory hosts a public observing of the solar system at sunset at the Science Center. The viewings will run every Wednesday through August.
Phi Iota Alpha hosts a spring social at Mother’s Wine Emporium at 3:30 pm, featuring free food, music, and fun.

The Career Development Center hosts a barbeque at the Union starting at 11:30 am. Grab some grilled food and ice cream.

Alonzo Fireworks Company presents the GM Week Finale Fireworks
Display at Upper Renwyck Field behind the Houston Field House at 8 pm.
UPAC Concerts hosts the final Battle of the Bands of the year at 7:30 pm in the McNeil Room, feauring Tasteless Groove, Off White, Maelstrom, and Under-Mind.
The RPI Players present the musical Pippin at 8 pm. Admission is $5 for RPI students, $8 for non-RPI students and seniors, and $10 for the general public.
Mother’s presents the GM Week Talent Contest Winners Showcase at 8 pm, featuring Justin Joyner, Margaret Ying Drake, Nic Engel, and Michelle Shirak.
Tau Beta Phi holds an egg-drop contest outside the JEC at 11 am. Prizes will be awarded to the winners, and all materials will be provided.
The Office of the Associate Dean for Information Technology sponsors a lecture by PC Magazine Editor Michael Miller ‘79 titled “The 20 Most Important New Technologies” at 4 pm in DCC 308.
The African-Caribbean Students Association presents the dating contest “Singled Out” at 8 pm in DCC 308. “Singled Out” is a takeoff from the old MTV TV show of the same name.
The Troy Savings Bank Musical Hall presents Eugenia Zukerman with the Shanghai Quartet at 8 pm. The music hall is located at the corner of Second and State Streets.
Loudon Wainwright and Eric McKeown play the Egg at 8 pm. Tickets can be puchased for $24. The Egg is located at Empire State Plaza in Albany.
BASIC and the Rensselaer Christian Association host a Christian coffeehouse at Mother’s at 7 pm, featuring the contempory Christian band One-Away. Free coffee will be served, and fun and games will be available afterward.
