The Arts Center of the Capital Region hosts the Impulse Response Concert featuring Shelley Burgon and Jen Mesch with a variety of musical styles. The RPI Concert Choir lends its voices to the Community Christmas Carol Sing-Along at St. Paul’s Church in Troy. The fun begins at 7:30 pm and admission is free. To learn more go to http://www.chorale.union.rpi.edu/.

The Commons volleyball court comes alive with the first freshman class event at 5:30 pm with a bonfire, music, food, and face painting, followed by a freshman night at the men’s hockey game at 7 pm.

President Shirley Ann Jackson dedicates the W. M. Keck Laboratory for Terahertz Science in CII 4050 beginning at 10:45 am. J. Erik Jonsson ’22 Distinguished Professor of Science Xi-Cheng Zhang and others will speak.
