To the Editor:
I’d like to recognize the RPI staff members who take on snow removal duties whenever we have a snowstorm. They get up in what most of us would consider the middle of the night, clear their own cars and driveways, drive here through snow and ice, and begin work while it is still dark outside. On the days when we have snowstorms, they often must work for 10 or 12 hours or more in order to get the job done. As someone who does not have to be on campus until 8:30 am, and whose work is indoors, I have a relatively luxurious job. I am grateful to those who toil with the ice and snow so that the rest of us may have clear pathways to walk upon.
