The Rensselaer Panhellenic Council is excited to announce our upcoming Sorority Spring Recruitment, taking place from January 29 to February 11. Each sorority will host several rush events during this time as an opportunity for interested women to get to know them, and for sororities to get to know potential members.

If you take part in recruitment, it is important to be yourself and to ask any questions you may have. Since joining a sorority is a very personal decision which has lifelong benefits, it is essential to learn as much as possible about the opportunities that our campus greek system has to offer. For this reason, we recommend that you visit each chapter during rush.

To kick off recruitment, we will be hosting an all-sorority event in Mother’s on Friday, January 26 from 6:30–7:30 pm. This is a chance to meet members of each sorority all in one place, and to get any questions answered before recruitment officially begins. Even if you are not sure if you want to rush, stop by for some dessert and to learn more about greek life.

The first recruitment event for each house is as follows:

On Monday, January 29, Pi Beta Phi will host a Pizza and Wings night from 5–7 pm, and Alpha Gamma Delta will host a Café from 6:30–8:30 pm.

On Tuesday, January 30, Alpha Phi will host an Ice Cream Soda Shoppe from 5–7 pm and Alpha Omega Epsilon will host a Snowed-In Games Night, from 6:30–8:30 pm.

On Wednesday, January 31, Sigma Delta will host a Game Night from 7–8:30 pm.

Greek life offers a unique opportunity for lifetime friendship and support.
