To the Fans:
We would like to thank everybody for their support so far this season. The enthusiasm that everybody has shown has not gone unnoticed by the team. In fact, we feel that you, the fans, had a huge role in our recent come-from-behind victory against Northeastern. As players, it is very motivating to look up and see the stands full of rowdy students and faculty.
Go Be Red is a great addition to the RPI athletic family. It is encouraging to see a group like Go Be Red up in the stands every game leading the Field House in chants and cheers. We feel like this is the first step in restoring pride in RPI. Anyone who has ever played a sport knows how difficult it is to walk into an arena/stadium of screaming fans. Our goal is to make the Field House a place that no opposing team wants to set foot in.
We would like to thank the fans and invite everybody to become members of the RPI hockey team as the seventh man on the ice and look forward to your continued support.
