To the Editor,

September 21’s paper was wonderfully written, thoughtful, and insightful. However, as an RPI student and avid Polytechnic reader, I was disappointed. It was missing something extremely important to life on campus. The first Sheer Idiocy show of the year was on Saturday, September 17 in Mother’s. The place was packed full. People had to stand in the back. It was an amazing show and it had the audience laughing the entire time. Usually The Poly does a magnificent job with including Sheer Idiocy, RPI’s only improv troupe, in the paper after their shows. This week’s paper did not include them. I think that’s really unfair to them. They work hard to entertain RPI students. It was even more important for them to be in The Poly this week because, for the first time ever, Sheer Idiocy was involved as an FYE activity. What they’ve been accomplishing lately is quite amazing and interesting. I’m positive your readers would love to know what is going on with Sheer Idiocy. I know I like to read about them. Please, for their sake and the sake of the student body, take notice of Sheer Idiocy. Who knows where these talented entertainers might end up?
