To the Editor:
I’m sitting in the hallway in the DCC about 50 feet from the heavy doors on the JEC side. I’m writing a paper for my Psych in Law class while listening to music through headphones, and then I smell something I hate. I look up, and, sure enough, there’s an employee from Jazzman’s Café standing not two feet from the opened door, smoking a cigarette. I could be wrong, but I thought there was a rule on campus that you have to be at least 15 feet from a building to smoke. I, like many others, hate the smell of cigarette smoke, and the effects of it, and don’t wish to breathe it, especially while working on homework in the DCC. I don’t know who to notify about this problem so that the employees will be reminded of the rules.
