The Panhellenic Council’s Make-A-Wish project is underway. The council raised approximately $50 at the Health and Wellness Fair. Thank you to all who bought candy bars to benefit the cause. To further the fundraising efforts, the location of a greek happy hour has been established. The first one will be at O’Leary’s, so watch for the date and be sure to attend because the proceeds will go to the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Everyone is welcome to attend, regardless of his or her greek status.
The “I’ll Make Your Wish Date Auction” is tentatively set for Thursday, April 1, during GM Week. Students may sign up to be auctioned off in groups up to four people. Sign-up will begin after spring break.
Plans are in the works for the Greek Three-Day, which is a mini greek-week for those who are unfamiliar. On Friday, March 26, there will be an outdoor movie, and on Saturday, March 27, there will be a carnival with all sorts of booths. A yard sale will be held on Sunday, March 28 as well as a Panhellenic Council event. Although plans for this event are uncertain, an RPI version of the MTV show “Singled Out” is being considered.
