Crunch time is certainly here again after an especially short spring break. With the return to campus, I am working on my senior thesis and other projects, and I am sure others are facing the same workload. GM week is approaching quickly, too, and I hope to see many students competing to gain office in April.
Accompanying the elections, the GM Week Committee always plans plenty of events to help students here relax a little as the semester draws to a close and pressure begins to mount. This year, the Independent Council will be holding a GM Week barbecue. Details are yet to come, however we have already worked out almost all of the logistics. We hope folks on campus will stop by and have lunch with us during this heralded week at RPI.
Once again, IC surveys are going out to professors. This semester, unlike others, we have distributed surveys in two separate waves. The sheer number of surveys—twice as many than have been handed out before—will help us give RPI students a broader perspective of courses to examine. We hope that this will increase the quality of service the IC provides to the RPI campus. Please remember to help your fellow RPI students by filling out these blue-colored surveys—they are the only surveys whose results are published with the sole purpose of helping students on campus make more informed decisions!
