The Albany Citizens Council celebrates the Chocolate Festival at the Washington Avenue Armory. Events include children’s fashion show and entertainment, Radio Disney’s Fun Factory live show, crafts, and chocolate displays. Tickets cost $5 for children and $8 for adults. The event runs from 10 am to 5 pm.
Northern Lights features Lamb of God, Trivium, Machinehead, and Gojira at 7 pm. Tickets cost $24.
UPAC presents the Battle of the Bands finale in the McNeil Room. The event begins at 8 pm. Admission is free.
Roger McGuinn performs at The Egg at 8 pm. McGuinn was a former member of The Byrds, and currently tours the world with his solo show. Tickets cost $24.
WAMC hosts One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest at the Linda Norris Auditorium. The play is directed by Amanda Stankovich and is based on Ken Kesey’s novel. The play will take place on March 24 at 8 pm and on March 25 at 2 pm. Tickets cost $12.
The Albany Symphony Orchestra performs at the Troy Savings Bank Music Hall at 8 pm. Musical pieces include Child’s Fairy Tales, Tsontakis’ Violin concerto No. 1, and Hermann’s Three Melodrams and Nocturne and Scherzo. For tickets, call 273-0038.

EMPAC hosts Bedlam at the Second Floor Gallery of the Greene Building. The video installation is derived from Robert Daroll’s theater piece involving five performers and their escape from Bedlam, a medieval England insane asylum. The video showcase will take place from 12:30 pm—5 pm during March 28 to March 31. Admission is free.
The Student Christian Organization holds a free car wash at the Armory. The event begins at 12 pm and ends at 3 pm. Donations are accepted.
