The Albany Symphony Orchestra showcases “Hooray for Hollywood” at the Palace Theatre. The concert features pianist Kevin Cole and music from various films such as “Star Wars,” “Robin Hood,” and “Gone with the Wind.” The show begins at 6:30 pm. Tickets range from $10.50 to $21 for children, $16 to $37 for seniors, or $21 to $42 for adults.

The Russian American Kids Circus showcases its young talent at The Egg. The professional stars (ranging from ages 6 to 16) are trained by World-Famous Moscow Circus veterans, and they will be performing acrobatics, unicycling, black light juggling, clowning, precision balancing, and aerial feats. WAMC hosts Dar Williams, New England songwriter and performer, at the Linda Norris Auditorium. Williams uses traditional folk songs to express the peculiarity and idiosyncrasies of real life. The show begins at 7 pm. Tickets cost $25.
