The dunk tank returns as a fundraiser sponsored by Pi Beta Phi and Theta Chi. Volunteers will be dunked from 10 am-6 pm in the Russell Sage Dining Hall. All event proceeds will be donated to Rensselaer’s Relay for Life.
EMPAC hosts the fourth free DANCE MOViES installment, entitled “Streetwise,” from 7:30-9 pm in the Academy Hall Auditorium. Film clips shown will display the best of the dance film genre. For a list of films, visit http://www.empac.rpi.edu/events/2006/dancemovies4.html/.
Northern Lights pays tribute to Sublime with Badfish and special guests Paranoid Social Club and Slim Pickins. The show starts at 7:30 pm with tickets costing $12 in advance or $14 at the door.

Yefim Bronfman performs Bronfman’s Brahms from 8-10 pm at the Troy Savings Bank Music Hall. Bronfman has been a piano soloist for many years. The show is free and is sponsored by the Sylvia and Alexander Hassan ’27 Concert Series.
UPAC Comedy presents The Have Nots, an improv comedy group, in the McNeil Room from 8-10 pm. The Have Nots perform and teach classes based in Charleston, SC. The show is free for all to attend.
The RPI Players stage Titanic the Musical in the RPI Playhouse at 8 pm. Tickets are $5 with valid RPI ID, $8 for students and seniors, or $10 for the general public. For additional showtimes and to reserve tickets, call 276-6503.
The Egg hosts Solas, a modern Celtic band, at 8 pm. Solas has been declared today’s most popular, influential, and exciting Celtic band. Tickets are $24.

RPI’s Reserve Officers’ Training Corps holds a Drill Meet and Military Excellence Competition for cadets and midshipmen. This is being held from 8 am-5 pm in the Armory. Admission is free.
Channel 103.1 sponsors P.O.D. with special guests Pillar, The Chariot, and Maylene and the Sons of Disaster. Tickets are $15 in advance or $17 the day of the show. The show starts at 7 pm at Northern Lights.
The Arrogant Worms rock out the McNeil Room from 8-10 pm. The band performs musical comedy with a folk twist. The performance is free and is sponsored by Mother’s.
Saratoga Winners showcases RPI bands Corona of the Sun and Five is Alive with guest I Am Balla. The show starts at 8 pm, and tickets are $10.

Kidz Bop Live visits The Egg, bringing popular kids’ songs to the stage. Children will be able to sing to the music and dance along to the songs. The show starts at 2 pm.
Ecologic hosts the OXFAM Banquet from 4-6 pm in the Russell Sage Dining Hall. The banquet is held to raise awareness of hunger in the community and is being supported by the Community Advocates. Tickets are $5.
Chanticleer celebrates Earth Day with Earthsongs, a collection of songs honoring the grace of earth’s creatures and seasons. They will perform this free show at the Troy Savings Bank Music Hall from 8-10 pm.

iEAR launches their new TV Channel 55 with an ice cream social celebration in the Mueller Center from 4-6 pm. ARTv will showcase the electronic arts programs that Rensselaer has to offer.
Bedouin Soundclash stages a concert at Northern Lights with special guest Capital Zen, starting at 7 pm. Bedouin Soundclash has been recognized for similarities to The Strokes. Tickets are $10 in advance or $12 the day of the show.
Cryptopsy performs with special guests Held Under, Organ Harvest, and Son of Morning. The show is being held at Saratoga Winners starting at 7:30 pm. Tickets are $12 in advance or $14 at the door.
