The Bank of America sponsors a “Fast Cash Dash” to introduce its new ATM. Participants are allowed to keep as much money as they withdraw in $20 increments within a five minute period. Raffle tickets will be available to students, faculty, and staff at the DCC. The event runs from 11 am–2:20 pm, and winners will be drawn at 2 pm.
Saratoga Winners hosts the third annual Ska is Dead show featuring The Toasters with special guests Planet Smashers, Westbound Train, and Kicking Sicily. The show starts at 7:30 pm, and tickets are $10 in advance at http://www.ticketmaster.com/ or $12 at the door.
Friday
IBM and the CDC hold the annual Career Day in the DCC Great Hall from 9 am–4 pm. Students can meet with representatives from IBM to discuss business opportunities.
Alianza Latina continues Latino heritage month with the Annual Date Auction. The auction runs from 7–10 pm in the McNeil Room, and all proceeds will be donated to a local charity.
iEAR Presents! holds its first-ever film festival featuring “The Yes Men” and “Me and You and Everyone We Know.” This event is being co-sponsored by UPAC Cinema. The showings run from 7–10 pm in DCC 308, and the cost to attend is $2.50. There will be a second opportunity to attend on Saturday, September 24.
The C+CC stages an evening of sound and light featuring RPI’s own skfl performing a magic show from 8–10:30 pm. RPI students and guests will be admitted free. For more information, contact J. Eric Smith at 274-7793.
Wood’s Tea Company performs a Celtic folk concert at Mother’s in the Union from 8–10 pm. There is no cost for RPI students.
Proctors Theatre in Schenectady begins a week-long celebration of modern Chinese film. For movies and showtimes, visit http://www.proctors.org/. Tickets are $3 for adults, and $2 for children 12 and under.
Saturday
IBM sponsors the Archer Center’s Annual Leadership Conference from 8:30 am–4 pm in the Union. Students will gain a strong knowledge of leadership through interacting with IBM representatives.
Lambda Upsilon Lambda holds the 10th Annual Cultural Pride Night held in the McNeil Room from 6–11 pm. Students will learn about various cultures while sampling native cuisine.
Northern Lights showcases Darkest Side of the Moon—A tribute to Pink Floyd beginning at 7:30 pm. Tickets are $15 in advance or $18 at the door. For more information, email info@northernlightslive.com.
Rod MacDonald performs a folk festival at Mother’s in the Union from 8–10 pm. RPI students will be admitted free.
Sunday
Saratoga Winners presents an evening of concerts with Stone Quarry Band, Solid Blue, Jimmy Roman, Moon Shine, Isiah Prophecy. The show starts at 5 pm and tickets are $5.

The CDC invites representatives from Morgan Stanley from 7–9 pm in the CII 3051. This is a CDC sponsored employer informational meeting.
Tuesday
The CDC hosts representatives from Bank of America from 6:30 – 8:30 pm in the DCC 239. This is a CDC sponsored employer informational meeting.
Wednesday
ALAC holds a workshop in speaking English from 6:30–8:30 pm in the CII 3051. Both language learners and native speakers will participate in an intercultural conversation.
