Final Round for the Business Plan Competition takes place in CII 4050. Collegiate teams present their new business plans to venture capitalists and angel investors in an open forum. It is open to the public with no charge, and begins at 6 pm.
Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey Circus comes to the Pepsi Arena. Go to http://www.pepsiarena.com/ for more infomation. The circus continues until May 1.

Valentine’s Music Hall in Albany features RPI’s Final Battle of the Bands winner Corona of the Sun. Their special guest is EEM and the event is at 9 pm.
Jim Weider Band II performs at Revolution Hall. This 18 and over event starts at 7:30 pm. Pre-ordered tickets are $7 or $10 on the day of the show.
Northern Lights hosts the Fueled By Ramen Tour featuring Fall Out Boy, Silverstein, The Academy Is, and Gym Class Heros. This event starts at 6 pm and tickets are $15.
The Holocaust is remembered with a multimedia play that combines videotaped interviews with survivors who knew Anne Frank and live actors. It is free with recommended donation of $2 from 8-10 pm in the RPI Playhouse. This event will be repeated on Friday, April 29 from 8-10 pm.
The Theatre Performance class shows the Playwright’s Festival. These fourteen short plays were written by RPI students. Performances are on Thursday, April 28 and Monday, May 2 from 6-8 pm.
Troy Savings Bank Music Hall presents The Count Basie Orchestra featuring Diane Schuur. This 130th anniversary concert event is at 8 pm. Tickets cost $45 and $48.

The Bouncing Souls play at Saratoga Winners at 8 pm. Tickets are $12 ahead or $14 at the door.
The Campus Serenaders Swing Band brings a night of swing standards from the ’30s and ’40s as well as other styles. Admission is free and the show starts at 8 pm in the McNeil Room in the Union.
EMAC seniors showcase their projects at the 2005 EMAC Capstone Show. The presentations are held in the Heffner Alumni House from 5-8 pm. The senior projects will also be displayed on Saturday, April 30 from 10 am-4 pm.
Jeff Bates performs at Northern Lights at 7:30 pm. His special guests are Roadhouse and The Back 40 Band. Pre-sale tickets are $15, or $17 at the door.
The Juggernaut Jug Band comes to UPAC Mother’s. This fun event is from 8-10 pm. Admission is $8 and free with student ID.

The Palace Theatre presents Maude Baum and Company Dance Theatre in Concert. This amazing dance company performs at 2:30 pm and again at 8 pm. Tickets are $25.
Partial Credit sings in the RPI Playhouse for their spring concert at 7:30 pm.
Northern Lights showcases Countdown to Camp Creek! Max Creek, U-Melt, School Bus Yellow, and Eamon Cronin Band. This event is open to all ages. The show time is 7:30 pm, and pre-sale tickets are $12 and $15 at the door.

The Office of the First-Year Experience promotes Community Service Day with WMHT Great TV Auction. All can volunteer to manage the boards, answer the phone, etc. Participants will be provided with free transportation and t-shirts. This event goes from 1:30-6:30 pm.

A forum for students, faculty, staff and community members to reflect on The Holocaust and what it means to them will be held in Mother’s at 7 pm. This free event is open to all.
