The RPI Wrestling Club traveled to Easton, PA for the second time in a month to compete in the Ron Morrow Invitational hosted by Lafayette College.

The team did very well despite the absence of many key wrestlers. Freshman Ben Meyer placed fourth with his two losses coming from Division I and III opponents.

Freshman Kurt Munz also wrestled a great tournament notching wins against two Division I wrestlers and placing in the top six.

RPI still has four wrestlers rated among the best in the nation. Bryan Sullivan ’03 (CHEG-Emmaus, PA) is ranked sixth. Meyer and Munz are ranked seventh and 10th respectively. Heavyweight Javin Watson ’04 (MGMT-Mexico, NY) also slides in the rankings at number 10.

The Wrestling Club will next be in action when they travel to the NCWA Northeast Conference Championships, which will be held at the University of New Hampshire on March 1.
