PSS: rpi hearts walking
THE FIRST RENSSELAER HEART WALK TOOK PLACE on Saturday, February 15 at the East Campus Athletic Village. Groups tabling to provide information and free goods included Price Chopper, RPI Wellness Institute, American Heart Association, Capital District Transportation Authority, and SEFCU. The event started with people walking around and visiting different tables. Inflatable toys were set up that people could play on. Prizes from sponsors were raffled off, and participants did Zumba before the walk. People who walked could choose whether to walk one mile or three miles. Participants included members of the local community as well as RPI students, faculty, and staff. Dan Bruce
