Property Damage, Automobile Accident: Tractor trailer backing up on Fourth Street in downtown Troy struck marquee. Damage appeared to be cosmetic. Troy Police Department responded, filed MV-104-A.

• Greene Building

Medical Report: Student was feeling lightheaded in class. TFD responded, treated student at scene

• Gurley Building Lot

Criminal Mischief: Staff member noticed dent in roof after leaving car parked in lot overnight.

Saturday, September 6

• Barton Hall

Medical Report: Underage student was vomiting in men’s room; transported to Samaritan by RPIA. DOSO notified.

• Sunset Terrace

Larceny: Student reported that while at a party on Sunset Terrace, someone removed numerous food items and the battery reporter’s vehicle that was parked in lot. It was learned one of the fraternity brothers took the items. He denied having any involvement but president of the fraternity reimbursed caller for items that were missing. Battery was replaced prior to DPS and TPD arrival.

Medical Report: Student reported having pain in her abdomen and stated the only cause for the pain was wrestling with her boyfriend the night before; transported to Samaritan by RPIA.

• Sage Ave.

Harassment: Caller reported she was kicked in the buttocks by a female; stated there is a Cease and Desist order in effect against the other person. Both were attending a social function at fraternity. DOSO notified.

Criminal Mischief: Window broken by unknown means.

Monday, September 8

• Walker Lab

Petit Larceny: Student reported bike missing from rack outside.

• People’s Ave.

Burglary / Theft of Services: Caller reported tenant in building next door was stealing electricity by running a cord between buildings. RPI owns the property where lead is plugged in. Rear door was found to be forcibly opened. TPD notified and processed the scene. Investigation continuing.

Fire Report: Alarm set off due to cooking smoke. Reset by TFD.

Tuesday, September 9

Medical Report: Student walking in hallway twisted ankle, causing pain and swelling; transported to Samaritan by RPIA.

Larceny: Student reported wallet was stolen.

Saturday, September 13

• ’87 Gymnasium

Suspicious Persons Report: Student reported smelling strong smoke order near staircase to ’87 Gym, and reported seeing four or five individuals. Public Safety later discovered individuals had been smoking flavored cigars.

• Barton Hall

Underage Drinking: Intoxicated freshman found near loading dock of residence hall; transported to Samaritan by RPIA. DOSO notified.

Suspicious Persons Report: Student reported that person had been lingering around her while she was doing work and watching her in an unusual manner.

• EMPAC

Medical Report: Staff member called from emergency phone that they were stuck in the elevator and had received a minor laceration to right arm; refused medical attention.

Suspicious Persons Report: Four or five males had solicited to purchase weed.
