Petit Larceny: Silver wheel cover stolen from vehicle.

Fire Report: Fire alarm activated as a result of ball hitting the pull station outside of the building.

Tuesday, January 31

Criminal Mischief: Copier destroyed in Room 4040.

• Barton Hall

Harassment: Verbal altercations escalated and student was struck in the face by another student. The incident was reported to TPD who arrested aggressor for harassment.

Wednesday, February 1

• Student Union

Medical Incident: 25-year-old female had a seizure while conducting a meeting. TFD transported the patient to Albany Medical Center.

Thursday, February 2

• Commons

Burglary: Sixteen loaves of bread that were left out to cool were stolen.

• LINAC

Fire Report: Fire alarm activated as a result of an electrical fire. TFD, DPS, Environment Health and Safety, and Life Safety responded.

Fire Report: Fire alarm activated as a result of cooking smoke.

• Warren Hall

Attempted Burglary: Victim left room for a moment and upon return saw a black male, 5’11”, wearing a black jacket and baseball cap removing the DVD drive from her computer.

• Jazzman Café

Suspicious Person: White male, 6’0”, with grey hair approached victim and asked personal questions and continued to talk after the victim attempted to end the conversation.

Friday, February 3

Medical Incident: 20-year-old male cut right hand while working on a class project. Patient transported to Samaritan Hospital by RPIA.

Tip of the Week: Always report suspicious actions by others, and report your incident as soon as possible so law enforcement can observe patterns, if any, and direct patrols and other anti-crime efforts.
