• Albright Court

GDA: Officers were dispatched in reponse to a complaint; upon arrival, occupants of the building refused to admit DPS personnel; access was gained. Institute policies were being violated; the on duty Dean of Students responded and the incident report shall be forwarded to DOSO.

• Cook Drive

Excessive Speed: Officers noted a 2000 GMC Jimmy SUV being operated in excessive speed; the plate number was retrieved and the incident shall be forwarded to DOSO for review.

• Davison Hall

GDA: DPS responded to a medical call. The student was found to be incoherent and intoxicated; the student was in possession of multiple driver’s licenses. RPI Ambulance transported the patient to the hospital for treatment.

Monday, October 31

• Mueller Center

Medical Incident: A 19-year-old male was playing basketball and fell on his right leg; the student was transported to the Hospital by RPI Ambulance.

Wednesday, November 2

• Clement

Criminal Mischief: Student reported hearing a window break and observing three white males running from the area toward the ’87 Gym; repair personnel were contacted and DPS made a complete area check.

• Science Center

Grand Larceny: A Dell Desktop computer was reported stolen.

• Arts Dept.

Grand Larceny: It was reported that a student signed out equipment and failed to return it or respond to requests to return the property. The student was contacted by DPS and returned the property.

• Barton Hall

Fire Report: Honeywell indicated an alarm; the cause for the alarm was determined to be an accidental trip.

Thursday, November 3

• Cook Drive

Medical: A student attempted to remove a parking sign; upon investigation, the student was under the influence of alcohol and was transported to the hospital.

• Off Campus

GDA: Caller reported that individuals were throwing eggs at their residence; the subjects were identified and cleaned the property; incident forwarded to DOSO.

• On Campus

General: Parent reported discovering his child in possession of a bag of marijuana.

• Burdett Ave.

Medical: A 35-year-old female reported not feeling well and was transported to the hospital by Troy Fire Department.

• Warren Hall

Medical: A 20-year-old female was found unconscious on the floor; patient transported to the hospital by RPI Ambulance.

Friday, November 4

• Off Campus

Welfare Check: DPS was contacted for a welfare check on an off-campus graduate student; it was conducted and the student was advised to contact the dean’s office for follow up.

• BARH

Fire Report: Honeywell indicated an alarm; the cause was due to cooking smoke.

Saturday, November 5

• Lower Renwyck

Grand Larceny: Student reported that unknown person(s) smashed the passenger side window of her 2003 Jeep and stole her wallet with credit cards.

• Quad

Welfare Check: A student requested a welfare check on another student due to a cryptic message; check conducted and proper notifications made.

Sunday, November 6

• Sherry Road

Referral: Caller reported loud music; multiple occupants did not have identification on them; report forwarded to DOSO for review.

• Sherry Road

Domestic Incident: A verbal altercation occurred between a student and her boyfriend; reports forwarded to DOSO for review.

• Student Union

Petit Larceny: Student reported that the bicycle seat off his bike was stolen while it was secured by lock to a bike rack.

• Off Campus

Underage drinking: While interviewing individuals in reference to a domestic incident, it was discovered that they were under the legal drinking age and admitted to consuming alcohol.

• Sherry Road

Medical: A 19-year-old fe­male was found outside her residence yelling for help after she had passed out; patient transported to Samaritan Hospital for treatment.

• Sage Dining Hall

Fire Report: Honeywell indicated an alarm; the cause for the alarm was cooking smoke.

• Biotech

Chemical Spill: An unknown substance was reported on the floor of a lab in Biotech; EH&S responded along with Troy Fire Department; the chemical was deemed not caustic; Clean Harbors was contacted and responded for clean up; notifications made.

• DCC

Fire Report: Honeywell in­dicated an alarm for the aforementioned location and the cause was undetermined.
