Medical: A male student playing football injured his left lower leg. Transported to Albany Medical Center for treatment.
• Sharp Hall Lot
Auto Accident: Student re­ported that he parked his vehicle and upon returning noted that unknown person(s) struck his vehicle without reporting the incident.
Sunday, October 9
• Sunset Terrace
Medical: An 18-year-old female stated she was drinking Apple Cider and began feeling dizzy. DOSO responded to Samaritan Hospital.
• Sunset Terrace
Alcohol: Student disclosed that he felt sick to his stomach after consuming apple cider. Treated at the scene by RPI Ambulance.
• Albright
Grand Larceny: Student reports he parked his vehicle in front of 83 Albright on October 6 and returned to find his vehicle missing. TPD took a stolen vehicle report.
• E-Dorm
Medical: A 19-year-old female stated she drank orange juice that caused her to cough and have difficulty breathing. TFD and RPI Ambulance responded, but patient refused medical attention.
Tuesday, October 11
• Harkness Field
Medical: A 21-year-old male was playing intramural soccer and fell, striking the right side of his head. Transported to hospital.
Wednesday, October 12
• Warren Hall
Welfare Check: DPS responded for a welfare check of a student. Contact was made and the counseling center notified.
• Rousseau
Referral: DPS received two noise complaints in two days at the same residence. Judicial action pending.
• Sunset Terrace
Fire Report: An outside alarm company reported fire alarm activation. Alarm reset and in­formation forwarded to the DOSO for review.
• RPI Campus
Investigation: A staff member reported he received a phone call from a parent stating someone on campus was in possession of a 9 mm weapon. Investigation determined the call was unfounded.
• Student Union
Harassment: Student reported that an unknown person wrote a prejudiced remark on the back of a flyer the student was going to hang up.
Friday, October 14
• Pittsburgh
Fire Report: Honeywell in­dicated an alarm. A contract maintenance group working on the elevator was the cause of the alarm.
• Troy Building
Medical: An 83-year-old male was unconscious and was transported to Samaritan Hospital by Mohawk Ambulance.
Saturday, October 15
• Crockett Hall
Underage Drinking: Conducted welfare check for students who would not open the door.
• Sherry Road
GDA: Caller reported loud music coming from a residence on Sherry Road; the occupants were advised and complied.
• 2005 Fountain
Criminal Mischief: DPS employees noted damage to the 2005 fountain consisting of a board wedged inside the structure and that the water level was exceptionally low. Personnel asked to shut off the water to avoid damage to the pumps.
• North Lot
Criminal Mischief: While on routine patrol a DPS officer noted damage to the parking gate at the North side entrance of North Lot. The gate had been bent back 180 degrees. A repair was requested.
• Cook Drive
DWI: DPS officer noted a grey VW being operated at a high rate of speed at various locations on campus. Vehicle stopped in E-lot and the officer interviewed the operator. Due to slurred speech, glassy eyes, and impaired motor ability, TPD was requested and the student was placed in custody.
• White IV
Medical: A 58-year-old male visitor was walking down stairs, slipped on a marble floor, and sustained possible contusion to his chest and back. Declined medical treatment.
• Colvin
Fire Report: Honeywell indicated an alarm. Cause was determined to be cooking smoke.
Sunday, October 16
• Sharp Hall
GDA: DPS responded to a report of underage drinking, and upon arrival occupants refused to open the doors for DPS. Upon interviewing an occupant and viewing alcoholic beverages in the suite, the On-Call Duty Dean was requested to the scene. Judicial action pending.
• Sunset Terrace
Property Damage Auto: DPS responded to a vehicle off the roadway on Sunset Terrace.The operator stated he had been operating the vehicle at a higher rate of speed than allowed. TPD responded and issued tickets
• Nason Hall
GDA: DPS responded to a medical call for an intoxicated student. The student stated she had consumed alcohol and was vomiting. Transported to hospital.
• Nason Hall
Medical: Per the above listed entry, the student was still vomiting after being discharged from the hospital. Transported back to the hospital.
• Sharp Hall
Criminal Mischief: Student reported that his vehicle was parked behind Sharp Hall and when he returned to his vehicle noted that the rear window had been smashed out.
• White I
Medical: An 18-year-old female fell down the stairs in the hall of White I and injured her left ankle. Transported to hospital.
• Warren Hall
Menacing: Student was roller blading near Warren Hall when one 12-year-old and two 18-year-olds approached him and struck him in the face. The 12 year old then struck him with a pipe. No injures were reported by the victim and the three suspects fled towards Academy Hall.
