Criminal Mischief: Com­plainant reported that an unknown person caused damage to his ’94 Jeep by means of breaking a window and unsuccessfully attempting to remove a mounted flat screen monitor from his dashboard.

Fire Report: A smoke detector was activated; no known cause for alarm.

Criminal Mischief: The window in a residential area was found broken and an item was thrown onto a bed.
• Nason Hall
Arrest: Complainant reported two non-students calling and threatening to harm him; TPD and DPS responded to the scene and the two individuals were charged with Aggravated Harassment and Criminal Trespass.
• Colvin Circle
Criminal Mischief: Complainant reports damage to his vehicle consisting of a broken driver’s side mirror.
• North Parking Lot
Larceny: Complainant reports that she was attending a football game at the ’86 Field and upon returning to her vehicle noted her window had been broken and that her purse had been stolen.
Monday, September 26
• Academy Hall
Medical Incident: Complainant reported a concern for a student in the area of Academy Hall; the student was transported to Samaritan Hospital for treatment.
• Stairway
Medical Incident: An 18-year-old female student, using crutches and descending the stairway between Sage Lab and Troy Building, slipped and injured her left leg; the patient was transported by Parking and Transportation to the Student Health Center.
Tuesday, September 27
• Colonie
Fire Report: Fire alarm activation was received; the cause was cooking smoke.
• Mueller Center
Medical Incident: A 22-year-old male was working out in the Mueller Center and noticed pain through his lower back and both legs; the patient was transported to Samaritan Hospital by Empire Ambulance.
• DCC
Larceny: Complainant reports that between 11 pm on September 26 and 8 am September 27 unknown person(s) entered an unlocked room at the DCC and removed his Thinkpad laptop and canvas tool bags.
• Pizza Bella
Suspicious Person: Complainant reports a white male approximately 50 years of age operating a red ’93 Nissan Pickup truck stopped and attempted to solicit money.
• JEC
Welfare Check: DPS was unable to locate a student and commenced an investigation. At approximately 4:25 pm DPS received contact from the Institute staff members advising that they had contact with the student.
Wednesday, September 28
• College Ave
Suspicious Person: Complainant reports that she was approached by a white male 50 years of age operating a red Nissan pick up truck requesting money; the Complainant and her friend decline and the male left the area; this case has also been forwarded to work in concert with Troy Police.
• North Hall
Fire Report: Honeywell indicated an alarm; the cause of the alarm was determined to be a stove which was left on.
Thursday, September 29
• J-Lot
Property Damage: Complainant reports she discovered her parked vehicle with a dent to the passenger side door.
Friday, September 30
• Academy Hall
Medical: A 55-year-old female staff member became light-headed and had blurred vision; upon the arrival of medical personnel, the employee felt better and declined medical treatment.
• Nason Hall
Trespass: A freshman student reported that her ex-boyfriend came on campus and the complainant did not wish to speak to him; the subject was advised to leave and was issued a trespass warning.
• Nason Hall
Medical: An 18-year-old male student twisted his knee while walking; Troy Fire Dep­artment responded to the scene and transported the patient to Samaritan Hospital for treatment.
Tip of the Week: Do not leave personal items such as wallets, purses, and electronic devices, unattended in public areas for any amount of time.
