Fire Alarm: Public Safety responded to odor of smoke. Building evacuated, and investigation found that an office occupant had placed burning incense into a small plant which led to its ignition.

Criminal Mischief: Front license plate damaged on car parked in lot overnight.

Fire Alarm: Grease fire in first floor kitchen oven. No damage.

Larceny: Locker forced open. Jeans and wallet stolen from within.

• Rensselaer Union
Odor of Gas: Person reported smell of natural gas. Troy Fire Department and Niagara Mohawk Power Corporation responded. Actual source believed to have been from a cleaning solution.

Aggravated Harassment: Resident reported harassing phone calls.
