An online registration component for the Banner software has been scheduled for release at the end of this month. The new registration system will permit Rensselaer students to register for classes from any computer equipped with Internet access.
Undergraduates who have earned 92 or more credits and graduate students can begin registration on March 30.
Juniors will be able to register three days later, followed by sophomores and then freshmen.
The online registration process will reduce the number of forms that students are required to fill out and decrease the amount of time spent waiting at the Registrar.
Representatives from the Registrar will be providing support for the new online registration system in Folsom Library on weekday evenings and weekend afternoons.
