Medical: Student hurt arm and shoulder while playing soccer.

Larceny: Wallet stolen from clothing left unattended on floor of gym for four hours.

Grounds for Disciplinary Action: Two underage students in possession of alcohol. Ju-dicial action pending.

Burglary: Door to room found to have been forced open, but resident did not report any stolen items.

Burglary: Residents reported that unknown person(s) entered their room via a ground floor window some-time be-tween 5:15 pm and 8:15 and stole two laptops and a camera.

Tuesday, March 5

Medical: Student with unknown illness. RPI Am-bulance transported patient to hospital.

Larceny: Wallet stolen from a backpack left unattended for 15 minutes on the 1st floor.

Wednesday, March 6

• Main Campus

Motor Vehicle Accident: Car struck light pole—property damage only.

Thursday, March 7

• Commons Dining Hall

Assault: Person reported having been bitten by another person. Minor injury sustained. Criminal charges pending.

• BARH

Larceny: Laptop stolen from unlocked and unattended room.

• Armory

Medical: Student injured nose playing basketball. Medical attention refused.

Friday, March 8

• Wiltsie House

Larceny: Resident reported the theft of a pair of ski pants from his room.

• Sage Avenue

Arson: Mattress outside of building intentionally set on fire. Resident accepted re-sponsibility. Judicial action pending.

Sunday, March 10

• Crockett Hall

Burglary: Ground floor room entered via window. Nintendo and DVD player stolen. Occurred sometime between 9:30 pm and 1 am.

• Sharp Hall

Attempted Burglary: Resident saw two white males climb through ground floor window, subsequently yelled at them at which point they fled.

• Detroit Avenue

Property Damage: Plastic table blew off porch and smashed window of parked car.

Monday, March 11

• Barton Hall

Burglary: Person noticed open window of friend’s room and later advised Public Safety. Evidence of entry found—unknown if anything was taken.

Tuesday, March 12

Criminal Mischief: Ink spilled onto stairway.

• DCC Lot

Criminal Mischief: Side of parked car vandalized by intentional scratching of paint finish.

Wednesday, March 13

• McGiffert House

Criminal Mischief: Fire ex-tinguisher expended on 3rd floor.

• Barton Hall

Criminal Mischief: Obscene writing scrawled upon 1st floor walls.

• Rensselaer Union

Medical: Person with respiratory difficulty trans-ported to hospital by Troy Fire Department.

• Commons Dining Hall

Criminal Mischief: Window-pane smashed.

Tip of the Week: Be alert and immediately report any suspicious activity outside of residence halls. Don’t leave windows of unattended ground floor rooms open or unlocked.
