On February 6, 2002, The Polytechnic ran an inaccurate headline of “Institute triples tuition for graduate programs” over a story about plans in development to move from per-credit to per-semester tuition for graduate students. The headline was written without input from the author and without specific reference to the story, based on unconfirmed information that had been intercepted prior to printing.
The Polytechnic deeply regrets the error in its headline. However, we stand by the accompanying story as factually accurate at time of printing. The facts of that story are presented above for consideration without the bias of the headline.
