Larceny: Side window smashed and car stereo stolen. Occurred between 11:45 pm and 12:05 am.

Criminal Mischief: Patrol found side window of car parked in lot smashed.

Property Damage: Window pane broken.

Noise Complaint: Report of loud group. Patrol responded to area and found no problem.

Criminal Mischief: Two emergency shower stations activated.

• Barton Hall

Criminal Mischief: Coffee table vandalized, furniture jammed onto elevator.

Wednesday, August 22

• Barton Hall

Attempted Larceny: Two persons attempting to steal fire extinguisher challenged by resident and fled.

• Library Lot

Property Damage: Person backing vehicle hit loading dock wall.

• Harkness Field

Medical: Student injured leg playing soccer. Troy Fire Department transported patient to hospital.

• Nason Hall

Mulch Fire: Mulch outside of building smoldering. Extinguished.

• Playhouse

Smoke Condition: Lamp fell upon curtain causing material to smolder. Troy Fire Department responded, no damage to building.

• Sage Avenue

Property Damage: Circular flower bed damaged by unknown vehicle.

Larceny: Car parked in Union lot entered and three lottery tickets stolen.

• Cogswell Lab

Harassment: Person reported incident of harassment by another employee.

Friday, August 24

• 10th Street

Medical: Report of disoriented individual, unknown medical problem. Determined to be a student, transported to hospital for evaluation.

• Bryckwyck

Larceny: Bicycle stolen from basement storage area sometime between July 14 and August 24.

• Upper Davison Lot

Larceny: License plates stolen from two parked cars, one later recovered.

Saturday, August 25

• Sage Avenue and 15th Street

Criminal Mischief: Two lenses on traffic signal light at intersection broken by thrown objects.

Tip of the Week: Don’t prop open the exterior doors to residence halls. Such action invites theft and compromises the safety of all of the residents.
