The C+CC presents “Literally Speaking: An Evening with the Short Story” from 7-10:30 pm. This performance will feature area authors theatrically performing their short stories. There is no cost to attend.
Bury Your Dead welcomes special guests Terror, Scars of Tomorrow, August Burns Red, and Recon to their show at Saratoga Winners. The concert begins at 7:30 pm, and tickets are priced at $12 in advance or $14 at the door.

The Rensselyrics hold their fall show in the McNeil Room starting at 9 pm. They will have special guests The University of Vermont Hitpaws, The Sagettes, The Hamilton Buffers, and The Clark University Clark Bars. Tickets are $4 in advance at the Union or $5 at the door.

The Community Advocates invites students to the Shelnutt Gallery, Union Room 3606, for “A Portrait of Natural Disaster,” an exhibit displaying the effects of Hurricane Katrina on the Gulf Coast. The exhibit will run until December 31.
The Indian Students Association hosts the Diwali Festival of Lights in the West Hall Auditorium starting at 6 pm. The show will include dances, music, and skits displaying Indian culture. Tickets for this event can be purchased at http://isa.union.rpi.edu/ordertickets.htm/.
Of A Revolution (O.A.R.) rocks the Houston Field House in their concert promoting the release of their latest CD Stories of a Stranger. Special guests will be mrnorth, and doors will open at 7 pm.
