Dear Tweedle and Dee:
This place sucks. There is absolutely nothing to do at RPI or in Troy. I have been here two years and cannot believe how little there is to do at this place. Can you suggest anything for me to do?
Signed,
One Bored Student
Dear One Bored Student:
Did you know that a recently published survey of 351 colleges by The Princeton Review indicated that RPI ranked number one in the area of “More to Do On Campus.” Let’s think about this. There are 12 varsity men’s sports and 11 varsity sports for women. Plus, there are tons of intramural sports you can participate in, ranging from kickball to softball. There are also over 30 greek organizations on campus, both social and service.
With over 130 different clubs and organizations on campus, ranging from media and musical/performance art, to religious and multicultural, you should be able to find something to get involved in. I would recommend that you check out the Student Life webpage off of RPI’s homepage.
This will give you links to all of the different opportunities available on campus. If that is not enough for you, check out http://www.Troynet.net/ for information about fun and exciting things to do in Troy.
