UPAC Cinema will be showing Red Dragon, starring Edward Norton and Anthony Hopkins, in DCC 308. Show times are at 7 and 9:30 pm and midnight. Admission is $2.50.

Sheer Idiocy will be putting on the semester’s first improv show in the McNeil Room of the Union at 8 pm. Admission is free for everyone.

The Theatre Voices of Albany will present a staged reading of Simon Gray’s comedy-drama Butley. The show starts at 8 pm and admission is free.

Saxophonist James Carter will perform at Empire Center at the Egg in Albany at 8 pm. Tickets are $24.

The Theatre Voices of Albany will present a staged reading of Simon Gray’s comedy-drama Butley. The show starts at 3 and 8 pm; admission is free.

Step Up Productions will present Damone, an alternative rock band, at Valentines in Albany. Doors open at 7 pm and admission is $5 with RPI ID and $10 for the general public.

Proctor’s Theatre in Schenectady will present Momix Dance Theatre’s Orbit at 8 pm. A show of “surrealistic images using props, light, shadow, humour, and the human body.” Tickets are $19, $28, $32, and $15 for children under 12.

Eighteenth century dance lessons will be given at the Monthly English Country Dances course from 2-5 pm in Academy Hall. Admission is free to RPI students, $3 for other students, and $5 for the general public. All dances will be taught, and no partner is needed. Beginners are welcome to enjoy the experience.
