The Center for Career and Professional Development Career Fair, on February 10, was an excellent way to learn about different companies, practice networking skills, and for some, find employment opportunities. If you were not able to attend, do not despair—there is still another career fair available to RPI students!
The Second Annual Environmental Career Fair, organized by the Society for Environmental Professionals will be held on Wednesday, March 9 from 10:30 am–3:30 pm in the Center for Biotechnology Studies. This career fair is open to all majors and has companies providing opportunities for students looking for environmentally focused careers. Companies such as the New York State Pollution Prevention Institute, Margination, and Delaware Engineering have sent representatives in the past. If you are still looking for a job, or just want to get your name out there, this will be a great chance to meet people in sustainability and environmentally-oriented careers.
If you are interested in learning more about the Society of Environmental Professionals, they meet in Rensselaer Union Room 2424, Wednesdays at 8 pm. All are welcome!
