PSS: we’ve made it this far … let’s keep going

ON SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 16, BOTH RPI MEN’S AND WOMEN’S CROSS COUNTRY COMPETED at the State University of New York Geneseo for Division III Atlantic Regionals. The whole season has led up to this meet. In order to compete at nationals, runners must place high at regionals; therefore, it was critical that both teams perform their best. On the women’s side, RPI placed 10th out of 38 teams, while RPI men placed fifth out of 39 teams. The most exciting victory of the day was senior captain Gracie Tilton winning first. This means Tilton is guaranteed a position to compete at nationals which will take place next weekend in Hanover, Indiana. Both teams brought a serious competitive level to the regional meet and ended the season on a positive note, which will hopeful carry on to next season.
