ON TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 19, MUSICAL AND COMEDIC GOLD WAS CREATED at the annual Greek Lip Sync. In DCC 308, RPI fraternities and sororities competed through song and dance as they each preformed their own renditions of popular songs, both new and old. Typically, the performers are new members of the fraternities and sororities, while the dances are choreographed by established brothers and sisters. Each group brought their own essence to the stage, giving the audience a taste of what greek life means to them. There are four awards the groups can win: best costume, best choreography, best lip sync, and best overall performance. After a thrilling and hilarious two hours of performances, the judges deliberated and made their final decisions. Best costume went to the men of Sigma Alpha Epsilon, best choreography to the ladies of Pi Beta Phi, best lip sync to the men of Alpha Epsilon Pi. And the overall winner of Greek Lip Sync 2013 goes to the men of Rensselaer Society of Engineers.
