PSS: computer science, information technology face off
STAFF MEMBERS IN THE COMPUTER SCIENCE DEPARTMENT PULL AGAINST their counterparts in the Information Technology and Web Science department during the ITWS vs. CSCI Tug-o’-War, held last Thursday as part of GM Week. The event—which pitted the two departments against each other in several categories, such as faculty vs. faculty, or by class—fostered friendly competition between the two departments, while building students’ pride in their majors. The ITWS competitors won all of the even-strength match-ups. However, when the entireties of both departments were put head-to-head, the Computer Science’s sheer numbers overpowered their ITWS opponents. Ryan Baltazar
