Over the weekend, future Phalanx inductees were honored at the hockey game. Founded in 1912, the Phalanx Honor Society recognizes students who have exhibited excellence and “distinguished themselves among their peers in the areas of leadership, service, and devotion” to Rensselaer. Phalanx also selects members for White Key—an organization particularly focused on freshmen and sophomores—as well as representatives for Who’s Who, a publication which recognizes students across the country, and the David M. Darrin Counseling Award for faculty.
