To the Editor:
Everyone who works for RPI knows about the ongoing unionization campaign. Whatever happens, whichever way it goes, fine. The truly sad part in all of this is though is that people who don’t know the “real” truth, are believing all of the dirt they are being told.
People think and believe that working for RPI is like working in a sweat shop. It just isn’t true. All of the good things about working here are never mentioned. Truth be told, the employee terminated without just cause is bull. Multiple second chances were granted before such action was taken.
Another point, last week a letter—taken from The Poly and signed with comments by fellow RPI employees who do not support the unionization effort—was ripped down and discarded.
Does the mere sight of the people happy to work for RPI threaten you that much? Maybe that type of action is what Mr. Rich Drucker encourages. Who knows, but please don’t believe all the negative fabrications you are seeing and hearing.
