Rensselaer’s Severino Center for Technological Entrepreneurship has named Mukesh Chatter ’82, founder, president, and CEO of Axiowave, the William F. Glasser ’53 Rensselaer Entrepreneur of the Year.

Chatter will deliver a keynote address at 9 am on September 21 in DCC Room 308, following a reception in his honor.

Past recipients of the entrepreneurial award include Paul Severino ’69, the founder of Wellfleet Communications; Curtis Priem ’82, the founder of NVIDIA; Nancy Mueller, the founder of Nancy’s Specialty Foods; William Mow ’59, the founder of Bugle Boy Industries; and Warren Bruggeman ’46, former vice president and general manager of GE’s Nuclear Business Operations.
