Outfielder Travis Teeter was named the UCAA Hitter of the Week for the week ending April 16. During that time he went 12 for 20 at the plate and had 11 RBI. In addition, Teeter scored 9 runs and had three stolen bases. Among his 12 hits were a home run, a triple, and five doubles.
Pitcher and outfielder Pat Hughes earned UCAA Pitcher of the Week honors for his performances last week. Hughes won two games, while limiting opponents to 1 run over 11.2 innings. He also held his opponents to a .231 average during that span.
Outfielder Brian Marine garnered the UCAA Rookie of the Week award after hitting .500 and collecting 8 RBI. Among his eight hits were three doubles and two home runs. Marine also scored 6 runs.
