Friday, August 1

• EMPAC

Criminal Mischief: Broken golf club thrown at a window located on the Eighth Street side of EMPAC, approximately 16 feet above ground level. Club was secured as evidence.

Monday, August 4

• Union

Accident: Environmental and Site Services worker was mowing lawn when tractor lost traction on grass and hit guardrail, snapping it off. Tractor then fell approximately 10­­‑12 feet to concrete roadway with worker still on board. Tractor hit deck first then righted itself. Worker suffered very minor bumps and bruises. TFD ambulance responded and worker refused medical treatment.

Wednesday, August 6

• Field House

Criminal Trespass/Petit Larceny: Officer observed vehicle and stopped driver for questioning. Driver was sweating profusely and not very clear in his explanation of his actions, but gave officer permission to examine vehicle. In trunk of car were several cast iron pipes and fittings that were removed from a construction site. TPD was notified and arrested subject.

Friday, August 8

• Quad

Missing Juveniles: DOSO contacted by the parent of STEP student who stated an unknown person had spotted student in downtown Troy. Public Safety was contacted and it was learned that two STEP students were missing from their room. One of the students was contacted via cell phone and both were located at Loudon Heights Apartments in Albany. Both were brought back to campus by DPS and were expelled from program.

Monday, August 11

• Union

Suspicious Activity: Officer reported observing three unknown male teens enter the north side of Union carrying an orange-colored box with smoke emanating from it. They ran from the building, heading north on 15th Street. A search of the building for box was conducted with negative results.

Tuesday, August 19

• RAHPs

Fire Report: Alarm set off due to malfunction in the system. Reset by TFD.

Wednesday, August 20

• Lower Renwyck Field

Medical Reports: Two students playing rugby collided and butted heads. One transported himself to Samaritan and the other was transported by TFD.

• Hall Hall

Aggravated Harassment/Petit Larceny/Vandalism: Unknown person stole all dry-erase markers on third floor, and wrote several annoying sayings on doors.

• Barton Hall

Aggravated Harassment/Petit Larceny/Vandalism: Unknown person stole all dry-erase markers on first and second floors, and wrote several annoying sayings on some doors.

Friday, August 22

• Sharp Lot

Criminal Mischief: Rear window of student’s car smashed by what appears to be a wheel from a cart or table.

• Quad

Medical Report: Student moving in cut forearm on refrigerator; transported to Samaritan.

Saturday, August 23

• Crockett Hall

Medical Report: Student was walking out of Crockett Hall and was struck in face by a Frisbee thrown by another student, causing a minor cut to lip. Incident was unintentional and injured party refused medical treatment.

Sunday, August 24

• Bray Hall

GDA: Student was found vomiting in men’s room, appeared to be intoxicated; transported to Samaritan by TFD.

• Barton Hall

GDA: Student was found vomiting in men’s room, appeared to be intoxicated; transported to Samaritan by TFD. DOSO notified.

• DCC

Vandalism: Suspicious youths spotted in area by Security personnel. Search of area proved negative. While searching for youths, officers spotted graffiti on south side of JEC in orange spray paint.

• Barton Hall

GDA: Student was found vomiting in men’s room, appeared to be intoxicated; transported to Samaritan by TFD. DOSO notified.

Monday, August 25

• Academy Hall

Medical Report: Student suffered an anxiety attack while at Health Center; student was treated by medical personnel at scene.

• Sage Lab

Medical Report: Student suffered a seizure during class; transported to Samaritan by TFD.

• DCC

Medical Report: Student stubbed toe, causing laceration; transported to Samaritan by TFD.

• West Hall

Medical Report: Student was attempting to open window when his hand slipped, breaking glass and causing a cut on wrist; transported to Samaritan by TFD.
