Thursday, April 10

• Russel Sage Dining Hall

Petit Larceny: Bike stolen while student was at dinner.

• BARH Dining Hall

Petit Larceny: Student forgot to take backpack upon leaving dining hall. Upon return the following day, bag was still where it had been left, but items were missing from it.

• BARH

Burglary/Petit Larceny: Room broken into via unknown means and external hard drive removed from desk; hard drive was later recovered in freezer. There were no signs of forced entry.

Friday, April 11

• CII

Petit Larceny: Welding equipment removed by unknown persons.

• E-Lot

Fire Report: Bus driver noticed smoke emitting from underneath hood of vehicle parked in lot. Blaze was extinguished prior to DPS and TFD arrival.

Saturday, April 12

• 15th Street

GDA: Officers assisted TPD on a noise complaint call. One member of fraternity became unruly and was arrested by TPD for noise violation.

• Russell Sage Dining Hall

Propane Leak: Officers responded to call of a hissing noise coming from a tank at construction site. TFD notified and determined tanks had been overfilled by propane company and tanks were venting. Physical Plant and all other notifications were made.

Sunday, April 13

• Sunset Terrace

Criminal Mischief: Sign spray-painted by unknown persons. Sign was being cleaned as officers arrived.

Tip of the Week: Never leave your laptop and belongings unattended in public areas. In addition, secure your laptop using a security cable.
