Tuesday, August 14

• Student Union

Medical Report: Visitor to campus misjudged the number of stairs while exiting the Union, fell, and injured hands; transported to Samaritan for treatment.

Friday, August 17

• Service Building

Medical Report: On the way to use restroom, staff member passed out. TFD responded and treated her for low blood sugar; transported to Samaritan.

• Biotech Center

Trespass: Officers encountered three youths on skateboards trespassing. Youths were advised to have parent come to retrieve property. Parents arrived later, and two of them became abusive to officers and dispatcher. All were advised and property released.

Sunday, August 19

• Mueller Center

Medical Report: Student’s fingers were caught between two dumbbells, causing fingernail to fall off; treated at scene by TFD.

Thursday, August 23

• Quad

GDA: Student was found to be in possession of what appeared to be marijuana; matter turned over to DOSO.

Friday, August 24

• Rousseau

Underage Drinking: Student was found in bathroom vomiting and in an intoxicated state; transported to Samaritan by TFD.

• Bray Hall Lot

Fire Report: Fire alarm set off by a tree that caught fire. Officer brought situation under control. TFD responded and finished task.

• Sunset Terrace

Automobile Accident: Officer heard crash. Both TPD and TFD responded; report taken by DPS.

• Soccer Field

Medical Report: Student was injured during soccer tryouts and walked to Samaritan ER for treatment. DPS was not notified of incident until mother of student called. Student possibly suffered a collapsed lung. DOSO notified.

Saturday, August 25

• Folsom Library

Petit Larceny: Bicycle reported stolen; bike was secured with a chain and lock.

• Cary Hall

Underage drinking: Student found in room in an intoxicated state; told officers was drinking at an unknown address on 13th Street.

Sunday, August 26

• ’86 Field

Medical Report: While attending colloquy, student suffered a seizure; treated and transported to Samaritan by RPIA.

• Warren Hall

Harassment: Students were playing cards when an argument broke out over the rules of the game. Argument escalated to a confrontation and punches were thrown by one of the students. DOSO notified.
