Last year the men’s volleyball team won the silver bracket at Regionals qualifying them for Nationals. They were only able to send six of their players there and did not perform as well as they would have liked.

The team is shaping up nicely this year, however. “I am very positive about this team and believe we have the ability to do very well at Regionals and Nationals as well, towards the last few months we have really started to come together,” proclaimed On-Court Captain Joe Foley. The off-court captain registers for tournaments and helps run practices while the on-court captain is responsible for organizing the lineups.

They typically play men’s club teams and not other colleges. Scrimmages have taken place against University at Albany and Sienna College, though.

This weekend, they will be playing in Regionals where they hope to do well and qualify for Nationals.
