Guard Tom Carrk averaged 12.6 points, three assists, and 1.8 steals en route to earning the UCAA Guard of the Week for the week ending February 12. During that time, Carrk led the Red Hawks to three wins which secured the team a home playoff game.
Carrk was also named to the UCAA All-Tournament team for his role in leading the Red Hawks to the tournament’s championship game. Guard Bobby Hurley joined him on the team.
Hurley and Forward Doug Ullrich also earned honorable mention when the All-UCAA teams were announced.
