The Schenectady Symphony Orchestra performs “The Wild Kingdom” concert at Proctor’s Theatre. Musical pieces include Henry Mancini’s “The Pink Panther,” John Philip Sousa’s “Stars and Stripes Forever,” and Camille Saint-Saens’ “Carnival of the Animals.” The show starts at 10 am. Tickets cost $4.
Northern Lights holds “Star for the Nite,” a Capital Region talent hunt. Performances include vocalists, dancers, comedians, musicians, and poets. There is a $25 talent registration fee; regular admission is $10. The event begins at 8 pm. | |
