Student clubs participate in “Asian Week Marketplace” from 6-11 pm in the McNeil Room. There will be food, crafts, and games at each organization’s table, and the pricing is pay as you go.
EMPAC sponsors “Dreamscapes and Dark Places: Music Videos Spawned from Surrealism” at the Heffner Alumni House from 7-9 pm. They will be playing music videos from Beck, LCD Soundsystem, Aphex Twin, and the like. There is no cost to attend.
Channel 103.1 presents Powerman 5000 with special guests Sofa Kings, Dead Lift, and Savior Hate. The show starts at 7:30 pm at Northern Lights. Tickets are $13 in advance or $15 the day of the show.
V-Day RPI hosts the fifth annual “Vagina Monologues” in the West Hall Auditorium from 8-10 pm. Tickets are $5 for students or $8 for non-students, and all proceeds will be donated to rape crisis shelters in Troy.
Rosanne Cash performs at The Egg at 8 pm with The Greencards opening. Cash is promoting her latest album “Black Cadillac.” Tickets are $24 and can be purchased by calling 473-1845.
Ground Zero holds a free show of pop music and relaxing in the Nugent Hall Basement starting at 9 pm. GZ’s In-House President Andrew Eckel ’06 and My Friend Other will be performing.
