Petit Larceny: Cell phone stolen from a residence.

Thursday, February 9

• Hall Hall

GDA: Foul odor reported turned out to be a mild odor of sulfur. Student advised that Hydrogen Sulfide was being used as part of a practical joke. Judicial action pending.

Friday, February 10

• Crockett Hall

Harassment, 2nd Degree: Verbal altercation took place between students. Judicial action pending.

• Sage

Medical Incident: 24-year-old female suffered a laceration to her finger. The student was treated by the Student Health Center.

Saturday, February 11

• Colonie Apartments

Fire Report: Fire alarm activated as a result of cooking smoke.

• Houston Field House

Medical Incident: 20-year-old male injured shoulder while playing hockey; transported by RPIA to Albany Medical Center for treatment.

Sunday, February 12

• Hall Hall

Medical Incident: 18-year-old male cut the palm of his hand while opening a package. Patient transported to Samaritan Hospital by RPIA.

• Barton Hall

GDA: Intoxicated student caught running through the halls of Barton. Two students were caught underage drinking; one was transported by RPIA to Samaritan Hospital for treatment. Judicial action pending.

• Off Campus

Investigation: TPD contacted DPS for information in reference to an ongoing investigation. DOSO was advised.

Monday, February 13

• BARH

Petit Larceny: Leather sneakers and iPod stolen from a stu­dent’s room.

• Walker Lab

Medical Incident: 21-year-old male student spilled chloro­sulfonic acid on his forearm. Environmental Safety, TFD, RPIA, and DPS responded to the scene; patient transported to Samaritan Hospital by RPIA.

• Quad

Fire Report: Fire alarm activated as a result of cooking.

• College Avenue

Fire Report: Fire alarm act­ivated as a result of an electrical heater.

Tuesday, February 14

• JPAC

Fire Report: Fire alarm activated as a result of an accidental trip.

• Sunset Terrace

Fire Report: Fire alarm activated as a result of a malfunction of the system.

• CII

Personal Concern: Welfare check for an employee conducted by DPS.

• JEC

Suspicious Person: White male with gray hair became verbally abusive while attempting to speak with a faculty member without an appointment. DPS responded and a persona non grata was issued.

Wednesday, February 15

• Barton Hall

Fire Report: Fire alarm activated as a result of a microwave.

Thursday, February 16

• North

Medical Incident: 19-year-old male with stomach pains was transported to Samaritan Hospital by RPIA.

Friday, February 17

• Nason Hall

GDA: Intoxicated student harassed another student. Judicial action pending.

Tip of the Week: When you see a suspicious person on campus, do not approach them. Call Public Safety with a description of the person, their activity and the last know direction of travel.
