I cannot think of a better way to spend this Saturday evening than at the Houston Field House watching the Engineers destroy Brown at the annual Big Red Freakout! at 7 pm! If you’ve ever made the mistake of claiming that there is no school spirit at Rensselaer, then this is the way to redeem yourself. Whether it’s your first time, last time, or some time in between, nothing could be more fun than joining several thousand RPI fans in cheering on our Engineers.
The Big Red Freakout! festivities start this Thursday at 7 pm with a free UPAC Comedy show featuring Robbie Printz, winner of the Boston Young Comics Festival. The Independent Council will be providing free food and drinks at this event, so even if you have no sense of humor, let your appetite bring you to the McNeil Room for some pizza, subs, and snacks.
The IC would like to thank everyone that filled out survey forms regarding laundry and dry cleaning services in the Union. We’ve passed your information along to the Executive Board so that they can determine what the best next move is. We’re always looking for ways to make your lives at Rensselaer easier, so feel free to send me an e-mail with ideas or suggestions as to how we can improve your RPI experience.
