The African and Caribbean Students Association holds a cultural show in the McNeil Room from 8-10 pm. The RPI Step Team will be performing, and the Nigerian Students Association will present a show with drums. An African guest group, The Fakoli Dancers, have an act that combines both dance and drums. This is a free event.
Mother’s presents The Whippersnappers—Frank Orsini, George Wilson, and Peter Davis—from 8-10 pm. All three members are well-known for their individual folk music, as each can play numerous string instruments. There is no fee to attend.
Saratoga Winners showcases local bands Mantella, Corona of the Sun, Samadion, and Method of Productive Means at 8 pm. These bands are classified as rock and draw some inspiration from The Who and Led Zeppelin. Tickets are priced at $10.
Cirque du Soleil brings their Delirium tour to Pepsi Arena for back-to-back performances Friday and Saturday nights at 8 pm. The show will feature an integration of musicians, singers, and dancers into an unique evening of creative excellence.
