Monday, November 7

• Fire Report

MRC: Honeywell indicated an alarm; cause deemed to be dust from a work area.

Tuesday, November 8

• Barton Hall

Petit Larceny: Student stated his laundry was dropped off in the hallway and when he attempted to retrieve it, it had been taken by an unknown person(s).

• Houston Field House

Medical Incident: A 19-year-old male student was struck in the head with a hockey puck; he was transported to Albany Medical Center for treatment.

Thursday, November 10

• Sunset Terrace

MVA: A vehicle attempting to back out of a parking spot struck a parked car.

• Science Center

Chemical Spill: A student bumped into a shelf; a mercury thermometer fell and the contents spilled on to the floor; EHS responded and supervised clean up.

• JEC

Medical Incident: A 19-year-old male suffered a seizure on the floor of a classroom; student transported to Samaritan Hospital by Troy Fire Department.

Friday, November 11

• Georgian Terrace

Larceny: RPI employee reported that an unknown person stole a light pole fixture.

• 15th Street

General: Complainant stated he attempted to teach a class about the utilization of a piece of equip­ment and noted that an unknown person had utilized the instrument without authorization.

• Sunset Terrace

Grand Larceny: Student reported an unknown person cut down a $2,000 Arborvitae outside the residence.

• Houston Field House

Medical Incident: A 78-year-old female was struck in the ankle by a hockey puck; the patient was transported by RPI to Ellis Hospital.

Saturday, November 12

• Sharp Hall

Fire Report: Honeywell indicated an alarm; cause was cooking smoke.

• Barton Hall

GDA: An 18-year-old male was viewed with impaired ability and vomiting by Barton Hall; the patient appeared to have consumed alcohol and was transported to Samaritan Hospital by RPI Ambulance.

• Barton Hall

Criminal Mischief: Student reported that unknown person(s) broke the glass on the exterior window at Barton Hall; a notification was made for repair.

Sunday, November 13

• Albright

GDA: Officers responded to a noise complaint and upon arrival noted numerous cases of alcohol; report forwarded to DOSO for review.

• Colvin Circle

Reckless Driving: DPS reported viewing the operator of a 1999 Jeep driving around barricades and over construction equipment; operator issued a ticket and report forwarded to DOSO for review.
